Director of Sales

Position Summary: 

Ebb Therapeutics has an immediate need for a full-time Director of Sales that is interested in joining an organization at the ground floor.  The candidate should possess a documented history of building and managing successful sales organizations, while possessing the necessary skill sets to develop new sales channels.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working with existing sales and marketing organization to develop new sales channel
  • Responsible for recruiting and developing sales team
  • Responsible for developing new sales plans
  • Responsible to implement strategies to expand sales within geographic responsibility
  • Responsible for developing key customers and strategic channels
  • Responsible for participating in the successful execution of pilot studies
  • Must be willing to take on sales responsibilities while building team
  • Capable of training business partners and customers on use of product


    Candidate must be a strong team player, agile learner, and self-motivated.  They must deliver the essential job responsibilities, but also have the drive and talent to grow the role and grow with the company.  Candidates should possess a demonstrated history of selling to physicians and key customers within the healthcare industry.  Additionally, experience in developing business opportunities for sleep specialists and physician practices is a plus for this role. The successful candidate should consider themselves a great team leader and coach, who enjoys team building and developing people.  The candidate must also be confident and resourceful when faced with challenges related to a start-up company.


      The position requires over 70% travel

      Required Education and Experience

      • BA or BS degree
      • 15+ years of sales in healthcare, preferable medical devices
      • 5+ Sales management experience
      • Demonstrated history of building sales teams
      • Demonstrated history of building sales plans including quotas
      • Excellent knowledge of selling processes and sales training methods
      • Understanding CRM systems
      • History of developing and executing sales budgets
      • Demonstrated history of building strategic plans

      Not required but a plus:

      • Clinical practice development
      • Sales and marketing directly to patients
      • Introduction of new or novel products
      • Experience in the sleep market
